She can also provide treatment for all behavioral addictions such as gambling, work, sex, food, pornography, shopping, exercise, internet, and tanning.

Her theoretical approach is eclectic but primarily utilizes cognitive-behavioral therapy. Amanda has experience working in a variety of settings such as a psychiatric rehabilitation day program for adults with severe and persistent mental illness, a drug and alcohol program for incarcerated individuals with drug or alcohol offenses, and also an outpatient therapy setting. Amanda also has experience as a clinical supervisor at a non-profit mental health agency.
